Job Responsibilities
- Handle daily procurement and purchasing activities, ensuring materials, products and services are sourced in a timely manner.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations and conduct price comparisons to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Prepare, process and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and procurement documentation.
- Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules and purchasing terms.
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
- Monitor outstanding orders, follow up on delivery status and resolve purchasing-related issues.
- Maintain accurate supplier records, purchasing documentation and procurement reports.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and improvements to procurement processes.
Job Requirements
- Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain operations.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison and purchase order processing.
- Good negotiation, communication and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple purchasing requirements.
