Deskside Support Engineer
Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Deskside Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support to end users in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops and peripherals
- Troubleshoot Windows, hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and VPN
- Perform device setup, imaging, software installation and hardware replacement
- Support Active Directory account and password-related requests
- Manage incidents and service requests through ITSM/ticketing systems
- Support user onboarding, offboarding and IT asset deployment
- Escalate complex issues to relevant technical teams
Requirements
- Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering or related field
- 1 to 3 years of Desktop/Deskside/EUC support experience
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP and VPN
- Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools is an advantage
- SCCM, Intune or Entra ID knowledge is an advantage
- Good troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including day/night shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
