The Customer Relations Manager is responsible for managing airline and catering client accounts, ensuring exceptional service, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The role serves as the key liaison between customers and internal teams, overseeing customer requirements, Chef Table activities, Galley Loading Plans (GLP), service performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships and act as the primary contact for airline and catering clients.
- Coordinate contracts, pricing, renewals, and customer requirements with internal stakeholders.
- Organize customer meetings, tastings, menu presentations, and Chef Table sessions.
- Ensure accurate communication of orders, special requests, and operational updates to production and operations teams.
- Manage GLPs and airline service requirements to ensure compliance and service consistency.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, analyze feedback, and implement improvement initiatives.
- Drive operational efficiency and cost-saving projects using lean management principles.
- Prepare reports, maintain CRM records, and ensure compliance with airline and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Menu Planning, Production, QA, and Operations teams to deliver seamless service.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Aviation, Business, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in airline catering, aviation, hospitality, or customer service.
- Strong knowledge of airline catering operations, customer account management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with Chef Table processes and Galley Loading Plans (GLP) is preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
