Overview:
As a Health Attendant, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients' daily living activities and maintaining a safe, clean, and caring environment. Your dedication and compassion will contribute significantly to the quality of care provided within the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Main Responsibilities
- Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding clients as necessary; assist in drying and clothing clients after bath by Nursing Aides, providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Provides appropriate engagement for clients by utilizing resources and materials
- Assist to accompany clients for medical / non-medical reviews when necessary
- Cleaning / washing of lavatories and shower stalls as well as laundry duties (when regular cleaning / laundry staff absent)
- Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures
- Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.
2. Others
- Participate in fund raising activities
- Any other (non-clinical) duties as assigned by superiors
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in healthcare or caregiving.
- Certification in Nursing Aide or Certificate in Healthcare Attendant (preferably trained in Singapore).
- Must be able to work 3 rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Physically fit to handle daily care activities.
- Open to learning and taking on varied responsibilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Hardworking, meticulous, and responsible.
- Service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
