Ebb & Flow Group is opening an exciting new Mediterranean and Middle Eastern concept at Dempsey Hill, led by our Executive Chef, who brings over 7 years of experience crafting Middle Eastern cuisine around the world. We're looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our founding kitchen team and help bring this concept to life from day one.

What You'll Do

Take full ownership of an assigned kitchen section (e.g. grill, mezze/cold section, sauces, bakery — as assigned), ensuring dishes are prepared to standard and plated consistently
Prepare mise en place ahead of service and manage stock levels for your station
Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef/Sous Chef, staying true to authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours and techniques
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation in line with food safety and hygiene standards
Communicate clearly with the rest of the kitchen team during service to ensure smooth ticket flow
Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff/commis chefs
Support with stocktakes, ordering, and minimising wastage
Contribute to menu development and refinement as part of a new opening team, working closely with the Executive Chef

What We're Looking For

Prior experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi CDP ready to step up, ideally in a restaurant or bar environment
Familiarity with Mediterranean and/or Middle Eastern cuisine and cooking techniques is a strong plus; genuine interest in learning this cuisine is essential
Solid knowledge of kitchen fundamentals, food safety, and hygiene practices
Able to work efficiently under pressure during service
Team player with good communication skills
Excited to be part of a new restaurant opening and help shape its kitchen culture from the ground up
Willing to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Work Schedule

5-day work week, 44 hours/week. Overtime pay for hours beyond 44/week
