Salary: Up to $4,500 + $600 (with T&Cs apply, salary commensurate with experience and role)
Location: 180 Orchard, Alley Bar/Acid Bar (Opposite 313 Somerset, beside Centrepoint)
Work Timing: 12pm / 1pm / 2pm to 1030pm / 11pm
Job Description:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and standards set by the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned section, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas, in adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies for the assigned section, communicating any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in menu planning and development, offering creative input and suggestions for new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of food items.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, fostering a cooperative and supportive work environment within the kitchen team.
- Assist in special events or functions as needed, providing expertise and support to ensure successful execution of menus and service.

Job Requirement:
- 1 - 2 years experience as Junior Chef de Partie / Pastry Chef / Cook.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance.
- Able to commit to shift work.
- Able to communicate with customers.
- Work involves serving and cooking non halal ingredients.
