Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day kitchen operations and food production.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
  • Supervise and guide kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely food preparation.
  • Assign kitchen duties and support manpower coordination when required.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and workplace safety.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control and minimise food wastage.
  • Assist in stock control, proper storage and inventory management.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to address customer feedback and improve kitchen operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef / Management.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
  • WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certificate required.
  • Good knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment and food safety practices.
  • Knowledge of local, Chinese and halal cuisine will be an advantage.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a kitchen team effectively.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for a higher role.
