Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and required quality standards.
  • Assist with ingredient preparation, portioning and food presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and workplace safety.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling and rotation of food ingredients.
  • Help monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and properly maintained.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a commercial kitchen or F&B environment is preferred.
  • WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certificate required.
  • Basic knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients and kitchen equipment.
  • Knowledge of local, Chinese and halal cuisine will be an advantage.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for a higher role.
