Incoming Quality Control
- Perform initial visual inspections for freshness, decay, pests, and physical damage upon arrival against quality standards
- Conduct compliance checks on labeling, weights and quantities, and expiry/pack date
- Execute Cold Chain monitoring by recording temperatures of incoming shipments
Product Verification
- Perform technical assessments including brix, firmness testing, and sizing measurements using specialized tools (refractometers, calipers, etc.)
- Conduct destructive sampling to evaluate internal product quality (e.g. cut test)
- Compare physical product attributes against the company’s internal specification
Outgoing Quality Control
- Conduct final pre-dispatch checks to ensure high-quality stock is sent to the stores
- Assist in trials for internal quality monitoring of outgoing stock
Documentation & ISO Compliance
- Maintain accurate, real-time digital or manual logs of all inspection results
- Identify and isolate Non-Conforming Products, ensuring they are clearly labeled and moved to designated "Hold" areas
- Adhere to Cleanliness and Food Safety (HACCP) protocols within the inspection zone
Requirements
- Able to lift, carry, and move cartons up to 25 kgs
- Able to work in a chilled/cold room environment (~4°C).
- Ability to spot subtle defects in a high-volume setting
- Proficient in using tablet interfaces
- Basic knowledge of Food Safety management systems (HACCP / ISO 22000) is an advantage
- Working hours: 5 days / week including weekends and PHs, rotating shifts
