Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to operate manual and CNC machines, perform precision machining tasks, and ensure the production of high-quality components in line with engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in precision engineering and a strong understanding of machining processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up jigs, fixtures, and tooling for machining operations.
- Operate manual and CNC lathe machines, milling machines, grinding machines, and Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL).
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and verniers.
- Follow engineering drawings, process instructions, technical manuals, and machining specifications.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance productivity, process efficiency, and quality.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure machines and work areas are clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations while performing duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–5 years of machining experience in Precision Engineering, Metal, or Aerospace industries.
- Proficient in operating manual and CNC lathe machines, milling machines, grinding machines, and VTL
Salary & Benefits
Salary: SGD 1,600 – 1,800
Overtime (OT) pay as applicable
