Job Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming goods against delivery documents
- Arrange and store products neatly in the backroom / store area
- Perform stock receiving, picking and replenishment
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products
- Conduct regular stock counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Check product condition, quantity and expiry dates
- Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO principles
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required
- Transfer stocks between the backroom and sales floor
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised storage area
- Minimise stock damage, wastage and discrepancies
Requirements
- Previous storekeeping, warehouse or supermarket experience preferred
- Good attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Physically fit and able to handle cartons / heavy loads
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced supermarket environment
- Responsible, organised and a good team player
- Willing to learn and follow SOPs
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
