JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Supervisor and Cooks in preparing and serving quality meals
- Receive, sort and store food ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook rice, porridge and desserts according to the menu
- Prepare meat, fish, vegetables and fruits
- Mince, blend or puree food for residents with special dietary needs
- Prepare, load and clean food trays, equipment and service trolleys
- Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly
- Assist with receiving stocks and checking kitchen equipment and fittings
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of cooking experience in a kitchen environment, such as a restaurant or hawker centre
- Food Hygiene Certificate (NEA)
- Willing to learn new cooking skills
- Good team player and able to work well with others
WORKING HOURS
• D0: 5:00am – 1:00pm
• D1: 5:30am – 1:30pm
• D2+: 8:15am – 4:15pm
• E1: 10:45am – 6:45pm
