Join a government-related maritime operations team responsible for maintaining and supporting Singapore’s lighthouses.
You will:
- Perform routine checks at manned and unmanned lighthouses.
- Assist with basic maintenance of light equipment and marine navigation lanterns.
- Carry out operator-level electrical checks on power systems.
- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties at lighthouse facilities.
- Maintain the surrounding areas, including trimming trees and clearing pathways.
- Work at offshore locations, including rostered 10-day shifts.
- Attend required training such as First Aid, AED/CPR and safe transfer at sea courses.
Requirements
- Open to candidates with Secondary 4 education or below.
- Physically fit and comfortable working fully onsite.
- Able to work at offshore lighthouse locations and travel by sea when required.
- Comfortable performing cleaning, housekeeping, outdoor maintenance and basic technical checks.
- Willing to attend the required safety and first-aid training.
- Prior maintenance, operations, facilities or marine-related experience is useful.
