Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Aircon Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing routine servicing, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain air conditioning systems (split units, central systems, VRV/VRF systems)
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems
- Perform routine servicing such as cleaning filters, coils, and drainage systems
- Repair or replace defective components (compressors, fans, thermostats, etc.)
- Conduct system performance checks and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns
- Maintain proper documentation of work completed
Requirements
- Proven experience as an aircon/HVAC technician
- Knowledge of electrical systems and refrigeration cycles
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Certification in HVAC or related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment and work in confined spaces
