Full Stack Engineer - 1604
What You Will Do
- Build and operate web products end-to-end across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure and deployment.
- Translate product ideas and user needs into working software quickly, then iterate based on feedback and evidence.
- Make pragmatic architecture and technology decisions that balance speed, quality, maintainability and scalability.
- Work closely with product managers, designers and stakeholders from discovery through delivery and iteration.
- Set up fit-for-purpose engineering foundations such as automated testing, CI/CD, observability and security without slowing experimentation.
- Own outcomes across the product lifecycle and contribute reusable patterns and practices to help the wider team move faster.
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with recent experience actively writing and shipping production code.
- Strong, recent Node.js experience and familiarity with the modern Node.js ecosystem.
- Proven experience building a web system end-to-end - including frontend, backend, databases, APIs, infrastructure and deployment.
- Strong understanding of modern web architecture, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and software engineering practices.
- Comfortable working independently in ambiguous problem spaces and making sound technical decisions.
Preferred
- Startup, innovation-team or fast-moving product experience, with a strong bias for action and delivery.
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, including AI coding agents, code generation or automated code review.
- Track record of taking a product from idea or prototype through to production.
- Experience working in cross-functional agile product teams with product managers and designers.
