Responsibilities
- Cook Muslim food in a central kitchen for Malay weddings and large-scale catering events.
- Handle large-volume food preparation and quantity planning based on previous catering experience.
- Cook halal-certified Chinese food dishes when required.
- Travel on-site to cook live stations for events approximately 2 to 3 times a year.
- Work collaboratively with another cook and 4–5 kitchen assistants during large events (e.g., 1,000+ pax).
Requirements
- Must have prior working experience in a catering environment due to large-quantity planning.
- At least 1 year of hotel/catering cooking experience preferred.
- Ability to adapt to the kitchen's specific cooking style and volume demands.
