Ascentiq is recruiting committed and confident Field Interviewers to support the Singapore Mental Health Study (SMHS), an important national research study. You will visit preselected households and respondents to introduce the study, encourage participation, arrange appointments and conduct interviews.
Job Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned households across Singapore
- Explain the purpose and importance of the study
- Build rapport and encourage selected respondents to participate
- Schedule and conduct interviews at the respondent’s convenience
- Record contact attempts, appointment details and visit outcomes accurately
- Maintain professionalism and protect respondents’ privacy at all times
- Attend 10 days of training at IMH (19-30 Oct, 9am-6pm)
Candidate Profile:
- Friendly, patient and confident when speaking with people
- Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable travelling, walking and visiting residential households
- Able to use a tablet device for work reporting
- Proficient communicating in English; ability to read Chinese or Malay is an advantage
- Previous interviewing, survey, customer service, community engagement or fieldwork experience is preferred, but not required
- Mature candidates and retirees who enjoy interacting with people are welcome
Work Commitment & Schedule:
- Minimum 3 to 5 days per week
- Approximately 4 to 5 hours per working day
- Must be available and willing to work on evenings and weekends
- Recommended timeslots:
- Between 4PM and 9PM (weekdays)
- Between 10AM and 7PM (weekends)
