📍 Location: Jurong East (Company Transport from Westgate Taxi Stand)
🛠️ Job Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate with local and overseas suppliers based on company vendor list
- Ensure cost-effective procurement of quality products and services
- Accurately manage purchase orders using internal costing systems
- Prepare and submit monthly purchasing reports
- Maintain and grow the supplier and subcontractor database
- Handle documentation for delivery orders, permits, and ship repair-related work
- Coordinate with ship agents, subcontractors, and internal departments
- Support purchasing and quotation processes for ship supplies and spare parts
- Perform ad-hoc procurement and administrative duties as needed
✅ Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience (ship chandler background is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
- Able to work independently and manage tasks with attention to detail
🕒 Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Alternate Saturdays (Work From Home): 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
