CNC Parts Inspector (Tuas/ MNC/ AWS + VB)
Job Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspection for CNC machined parts according to engineering drawings and inspection plans.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, thread gauge, pin gauge, dial indicator, and surface roughness tester.
- Read and understand technical drawings, GD&T symbols, material specifications, and inspection requirements.
- Record inspection results accurately in inspection reports or check sheets.
- Identify and report nonconforming parts to the supervisor or quality engineer.
- Segregate rejected parts and ensure proper identification of accepted, rejected, and pending inspection items.
- Ensure measuring tools are handled properly and sent for calibration when required.
- Follow company quality, safety, and production control procedures.
Requirements:
- Nitec, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
- 1-3 years of inspection experience in CNC machining or precision engineering industry.
- Able to read mechanical drawing and understand tolerance requirements.
- Experience in CMM inspection will be an advantage.
- Able to work in rotating shift or overtime when required.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system.
