Senior Business Analyst - 1619
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, interviews, workshops and co-creation sessions to understand needs, pain points and desired outcomes
- Analyse business problems, processes and user journeys and identify opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate ideation and evaluate solution options based on business needs, feasibility, cost, risk, security and operational considerations
- Gather and translate business needs into requirements, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria
- Develop user journeys, process flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes where required
- Maintain requirements traceability from business needs through solution delivery and testing
- Support system testing, business validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support risk assessments, change impact assessments and risk treatment activities
- Manage requirements, prioritisation, changes and enhancements throughout the lifecycle
- Analyse incidents, user feedback and post-release outcomes to recommend improvements
- Work with Product, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Data, Operations and vendors to support solution delivery
- Support change management, user adoption, communications and training where required
- Define success measures and metrics to assess business and user outcomes
- Provide recommendations based on user insights, analysis and evidence
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of exp as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master or equivalent in Agile/digital delivery environments
- Experience in business analysis, user research/discovery, requirements management and solution delivery
- Experience in requirements gathering, user stories, process analysis, prototyping and testing
- Experience working with users, technical teams and stakeholders to deliver technology or service solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- CSPO, CSM or equivalent certification is preferred
