KITCHEN CREW | ASSISTANT COOK
Salary: $2,340 – $2,500/month or $90 per shift
Working Hours: 9am – 6pm | 6 days per week
Location: Punggol Coast Food Centre
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with daily kitchen preparation, including cutting, chopping and basic food preparation
- Cook and prepare rice for daily operations
- Fry and prepare chicken, fish, begedil and brinjal
- Prepare fried rice and fried eggs upon order
- Ensure food is prepared consistently and ready for service
- Maintain a clean, dry and organised kitchen, including work tables and cooking areas
- Clean and tidy the kitchen during non-peak periods and after food preparation
- Monitor daily stock levels and food quantities
- Keep track of prepared and remaining stock, e.g. number of chickens fried, remaining chicken and balance of cooked rice
- Inform the team when ingredients or supplies need to be replenished
- Follow proper food hygiene and food safety practices at all times
Requirements
- Singaporean or Permanent Resident (PR) only
- Possess a valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate
- Preferably with kitchen or F&B experience
- Comfortable with cutting, chopping, frying and basic cooking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Responsible, organised and attentive to cleanliness
- Willing to learn and follow kitchen procedures
