Spring Technician (Precision Machine) – 4 Days / Week | 12 Hours Shift
Summary Benefits:
- Basic Salary: $2,200 – $3,200
- Working Days: 4 days, Monday–Thursday
- Shift: 7.00am–7.00pm / 7.00pm–7.00am
- Allowance: Day – $6.40/day | Night – $23/day
- Benefits: Variable Bonus
- Transport: Company transport from Woodlands / Boon Lay
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate precision spring machines according to production schedules and requirements.
- Program and run machines to achieve planned production quantities.
- Perform tooling setup, material changes and machine adjustments.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues such as arbor and cutter burrs.
- Liaise with QA for setup qualification and work-in-progress inspections.
- Conduct daily machine inspections and maintain records according to work instructions.
- Prepare and replenish materials according to production orders.
- Scan and record material usage accurately and complete material returns.
- Update production records including machine timesheets, utilisation and rejects.
- Follow customer specifications for production parameters, lubrication, packaging and lot quantities.
- Follow all manufacturing and safety procedures, including proper PPE when handling materials.
- Perform other production duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum N-Level qualification.
- NTC-3 or relevant technical qualification is an advantage.
- Experience operating or setting precision spring machines is preferred.
- Experience with Itaya machines is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Candidates with around 2 years of relevant machine operation experience are preferred.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, machine safety and production records.
- Able to read basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Good eyesight and able to handle very small precision springs/components.
- Willing to work fixed 12-hour shifts on a 4-day work week.
