Looking for a Permit Declarant Officer with hands-on experience in Singapore Customs permit declarations, import/export documentation and trade compliance to join a fast-paced team!
📍 Location: Singapore
💰 Salary: $2,500 – $3,000/month
🗓 Contract: 3 months
⏰ Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 9:00am – 6:00pm
💼 Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit and monitor Singapore Customs import and export permit declarations
- Verify supplier pricing, commercial invoices, packing lists and supporting trade documents
- Ensure permit applications comply with customs regulations and trade requirements
- Handle customs duty, GST and permit-related declarations
- Support Letter of Credit (L/C) applications and related documentation
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, suppliers and internal teams
- Track permit approvals and resolve discrepancies or documentation issues
- Maintain accurate records of customs permits and import/export transactions
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required
🔎 Requirements
- Minimum NITEC in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related disciplines
- Relevant experience in permit declaration, customs clearance, import/export, freight forwarding or logistics
- Possess a valid Customs Competency Test for Declarants (CCT) certification or relevant permit declarant experience
- Familiar with Singapore Customs procedures, TradeNet permit applications and import/export documentation
- Preferably 2 years of relevant experience
- Good communication and language proficiency
- Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage documentation accurately
- Able to work independently and meet submission deadlines
