Prepare quality specialty coffee, deliver premium customer service and support smooth café operations while demonstrating a growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, take orders, process payments and serve food and beverages efficiently.
- Prepare coffee, tea and other beverages according to Roasting Plant recipes, SOPs and service-time standards.
- Ensure consistent taste, portion, presentation and order accuracy while controlling ingredient usage and minimising wastage.
- Operate and clean the Javabot™, coffee machines, grinders and other café equipment, including completing basic checks.
- Maintain coffee and product knowledge, explain flavour profiles and recommend suitable products.
- Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies, conduct expiry checks and inform the Supervisor of replenishment needs.
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and comply with food safety, workplace safety and hygiene standards while continuously developing coffee knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Prior experience in restaurant or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Team player, willing to learn, and open to feedback.
