Shipping Coordinator Assistant
$2,500 – $3,200
9am - 6pm (Mon to Fri)

Job Responsibilities
- Handle import and export shipments via sea and air.
- Prepare shipping documents, invoices, permits, cargo insurance and customs documents.
- Coordinate container bookings, trucking, local deliveries and transportation arrangements.
- Monitor vessel schedules and shipment status to ensure timely documentation.
- Prepare and submit shipping documents including VGM, Bills of Lading (BL) and loading confirmations.
- Apply for permits and Certificates of Origin through TradeNet and TradeWeb.
- Coordinate with customers, overseas counterparts, shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters and warehouses.
- Handle transshipment, LCL shipments and container clearance.
- Verify shipping line charges and contractor invoices.
- Submit relevant shipping documents for banking transactions, including D/P, D/A and L/C.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and perform other logistics/administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience in shipping, logistics, import/export or freight operations is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of TradeNet, TradeWeb and shipping documentation is an advantage
