Job Responsibilities:
- Operate fixed shear equipment with stationary grab used to cut the process steel scrap.
- Commit to plant safety procedures. Ensure all relevant safety measures are adhered prior to application of permit-to-work.
- Maintenance activities and supporting plant operation to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the maintenance of mobile machineries like Liebherr 954, Cat 336 Grapple / Magnetic and Volvo 480 Grapple.
- Ensure 5S housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the plant area including control room, lightings are all function, appropriate tools and equipment are in working condition.
- Target for incident free and reliable operations, including timely and proper maintenance of systems.
- Ensure tools and equipment are replenished timely, reinstated, and maintained.
- Provide immediate response to incidents and emergencies.
- Any job assigned by the Engineer and Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Industrial Plant/Static Machinery Operator is a must.
- Experience in Metal Stamping/Shearing machine operator would be an added advantage.
- Perform Pre-Operation checks on Machine prior to Operation.
- Able to follow Instruction and Production schedule.
- Observe and follow Company Safety rules and Regulations.
- Willing to work overtime.
Working Hours:
- 6 days workweek: Monday to Saturday (12 hours rotating shift work)
