HR Officer (Payroll)
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive HR Officer (Payroll) to join our client’s team . The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting payroll processing and HR operations, including work pass administration, while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle monthly payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
- Manage payroll-related records, claims, leave and attendance information
- Prepare and verify payroll reports and related documentation
- Handle work pass applications, renewals and related administrative matters
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Provide support for HR administration and employee-related matters
- Liaise with relevant departments and external parties on payroll and work pass matters
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant statutory requirements
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on payroll experience, preferably managing payroll for more than 100 employees
- Experience in work pass application and administration is required
- Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Meticulous, organised and detail-oriented, with good follow-through
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight timelines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
