Full Stack Engineer (Gen AI) - 1645
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop full‑stack applications using NodeJS, Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Integrate Generative AI models and APIs into government platforms to enhance functionality and user experience
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for secure and scalable data exchange
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (UX, product, data science, DevOps) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
- Implement secure coding practices aligned with public‑sector compliance requirements
- Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing to ensure reliability and performance
- Support deployment and CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps engineers
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across frontend, backend, and AI integration layers
- Document technical designs, APIs, and workflows for knowledge sharing and audit readiness
- Champion continuous improvement by exploring new GenAI frameworks, libraries, and tools
MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS
Technical
- Hands‑on experience with NodeJS, Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of API development and integration
- Practical experience embedding Generative AI models/APIs into applications
- Experience in full‑stack application development
- Understanding of secure software delivery in regulated environments
- Minimum 5 years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in full‑stack roles
- Proven track record delivering production‑ready applications
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Government / Public Sector technology delivery
- Citizen services, e‑government platforms, or compliance‑driven environments
- AI/ML application development in enterprise or public‑sector contexts
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Frontend: React, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Backend: NodeJS, Python
- APIs: RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth
- GenAI: Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, LangChain (preferred)
- Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP (advantageous)
- DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, GitLab CI, Jenkins (preferred)
- Testing: Unit testing, Integration testing, UAT
