Job Summary
Manage financial institution relationships and support debt capital market (DCM) activities, including client onboarding, credit applications, product cross-selling, and DCM origination and execution to drive business growth and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct KYC reviews on financial institution counterparties to ensure compliance with AML regulations and monitor FI Counterparties for sanctions news
- Create, update, and maintain financial institution counterparty IDs and accounts in internal systems for accurate record-keeping
- Perform credit application and renewal processes for local and regional sovereign and financial institution customers to support risk management
- Manage financial institution relationships and identify opportunities for product cross-selling to enhance client portfolios
- Acquire new financial institution customers and coordinate onboarding processes with relevant departments to ensure smooth integration
- Support DCM origination and execution by preparing market updates, client pitches, internal memos, and documentation to facilitate deal processes
- Assist with client pitching, due diligence, internal approvals, structuring, execution, pricing, and invoice/payment activities to ensure successful transaction completion
- Execute other tasks assigned by department head and team head to support business objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- University degree in Banking & Finance, Commerce, or equivalent
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience related to financial institutions relationship management with a strong interest in learning DCM business
- Basic knowledge of corporate banking, investment banking, trade finance, and treasury products
- Demonstrated motivation as a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
