Clinical Duties (Chairside Assistance/ Front Desk)
- Beam Dental Punggol, Contact: Mr Teo 93880054
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures (sterilize and arrange instruments, set up materials).
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and retracting patients’ cheeks or tongue.
- Mix dental materials such as impression compounds, cements, or fillings.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs).
- Maintain infection control by following sterilization and disinfection protocols.
- Record patient treatment information in charts or computer systems.
- Provide postoperative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist.
- Apply topical anesthetics or fluoride treatments (in some states/countries where permitted).
