Machine Setup & Operation
- Set up production machines according to production schedules and work instructions.
- Perform tooling changes, machine adjustments, and parameter settings.
- Ensure machines are operating efficiently and producing products according to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Conduct trial runs and first-piece inspections before production commencement.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions, breakdowns, and process issues.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
- Escalate major equipment issues to the Maintenance Department when required.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure good housekeeping practices.
Quality Control
- Conduct in-process inspections and verify product quality against specifications.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Identify and report non-conforming products and process deviations.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Production Support
- Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are met.
- Minimize machine downtime and material wastage.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Assist in new product setup and process validation activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to workplace safety procedures and company regulations.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow quality management system requirements and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in safety and quality audits when required.
