General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent service and oversees daily operations in the dining area.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar and service team to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the supervisor or manager when necessary.
- Monitor the dining room flow, coordinate table turns, and ensure all stations are fully set up before service.
- Delegate tasks to servers and runners, conduct pre-shift briefings, and train junior and/or new staff.
- Ensure team members follow restaurant SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Support the Supervisor/Manager in maintaining efficient daily operations.
- Help with stock checks, inventory control, and minimizing wastage.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and outlet preparation where required.
- Promote menu items, promotions, and upselling opportunities, when appropriate, to improve sales.
- Perform general food and beverage operational tasks as required (e.g Taking orders, serving, and preparation of food and beverages).
- Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and efficiently organised.
- Stay attentive to customer needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Maintain a positive attitude and cooperate effectively with team members.
- Suggest improvements to enhance service quality and work processes.
- Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.
