Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Printing Operator to operate and maintain printing machines, ensuring high-quality printing output and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up letterpress and offset printing machines.
- Prepare printing plates, materials, inks, and machine settings according to job specifications.
- Monitor printing quality, colour consistency, and registration throughout production.
- Perform machine adjustments and troubleshooting to minimise production downtime.
- Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of printing equipment.
- Ensure printing jobs meet quality standards and production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Job Requirements
- Must have prior hands-on experience in letterpress printing.
- Experience operating offset printing machines is required.
- Knowledge of printing processes, machine setup, and troubleshooting.
- Able to perform quality checks and work independently.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to work overtime when required.
- Relevant printing industry experience will be an advantage.
