Business Development Executive (Marine), Up to $5,500
Salary: S$3,000 – S$5,500
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.45pm
Location: Near Commonwealth MRT
About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive sales growth and build strong relationships with existing and new customers in the marine and offshore industry. This role involves a mix of office-based work and frequent outdoor/client visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage existing customer accounts and build long-term relationships.
- Identify and develop new sales leads and business opportunities.
- Meet customers and prospective clients to understand their requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Promote marine ropes, related products and solutions to customers.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and contractual requirements.
- Attend trade exhibitions, industry events and customer meetings.
- Prepare sales activity and pipeline reports.
Requirements
- Diploma in any field.
- 2–3 years of sales experience in any industry, or 1–2 years of sales experience in the Marine industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Professional and confident when dealing with customers.
- Comfortable with frequent outdoor travel and client meetings.
- Team player with a strong sales and business development mindset.
