Healthcare Support Assistant (Night Shift, Emergency Department)
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Emergency Department Support Assistant to support backend operations within a healthcare environment. This role is suitable for individuals who are comfortable with hands-on work, medication packing and handling of medical supplies.
- Must be able to commit for more than 3 months
- Must be comfortable with working night shift
Job Responsibilities:
- De-box and organise consumables, medical supplies and other items received for departmental use.
- Receive and process medications and supplies delivered by vendors.
- Pack medications for inpatients and Emergency Department patients according to established procedures.
- Perform double-folding of blister-packed medications.
- Ensure medications, consumables and supplies are properly organised and handled.
- Perform basic housekeeping and housekeeping-related duties during lull periods.
- Assist with other ad-hoc backend operational duties as required.
Requirements:
- No prior healthcare experience required; relevant experience in pharmacy, healthcare support, warehouse or packing roles will be an advantage.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on packing and backend support tasks.
- Meticulous and able to follow instructions and established procedures carefully.
- Comfortable working night shifts.
- Responsible, reliable and able to work independently.
- Able to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
