SERVICE CREW (FSC Level 1 Certified) | $14/HR | BISTRO & BAR EXPERIENCE PREFERRED | SOMERSET & ORCHARD AREA | CASUAL LABOUR
Location: Orchard/ Somerset
Rate: $14/hour
Work Shift: All Day Dining & Sky Bar/ Island Bar
We are looking for Service Crew with bistro and/or bar service experience with a valid Food Hygiene Certificate to join a fast-paced restaurant and bar operation.
The ideal candidate is confident in food and beverage service, bar support and customer interaction, and is comfortable working in a lively, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome and attend to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages where applicable.
• Provide efficient table and floor service during busy periods.
• Set up, clear and reset tables according to service standards.
• Assist customers with menu and beverage enquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining, service and bar areas.
• Work closely with the kitchen, bartender and service team to ensure smooth operations.
• Support high-volume service during peak periods and events.
• Handle customer requests professionally and escalate issues to the supervisor when required.
• Perform other duties related to restaurant and bar operations as assigned.
Requirements
• Prior bistro, bar, restaurant, pub or F&B service experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in bar service and beverage operations is an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and bar environment.
• Energetic, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 certification is an advantage, particularly where the role involves food handling.
