Enforcement Officer (6 months contract)
Role Summary
The Enforcement Officer supports safe and orderly use of Singapore’s transport infrastructure by conducting patrols, identifying potential offences, and carrying out enforcement duties within the authority assigned to the role. The officer also engages members of the public and maintains accurate records of enforcement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols and inspections at assigned locations to identify breaches of applicable transport rules and regulations.
- Carry out enforcement actions in accordance with approved procedures and delegated authority.
- Gather and document evidence, including photographs, statements, and incident details.
- Prepare accurate enforcement records, incident reports, and supporting documentation.
- Respond to public feedback and reported offences, escalating cases where necessary.
- Explain relevant rules and enforcement procedures to members of the public clearly and professionally.
- Handle challenging situations calmly and resolve conflicts appropriately.
- Coordinate with internal teams and relevant agencies on enforcement operations.
- Attend briefings and training to stay informed of operational procedures and requirements.
- Observe workplace safety requirements and maintain issued equipment in good working condition.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in enforcement, security, operations, or public service would be an advantage.
- Good observation skills, sound judgement, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult situations.
- Ability to perform outdoor patrol duties and meet the role’s operational requirements.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic computer skills for preparing reports and maintaining records.
- A valid Singapore Class 2B license.
