[University] Simulation Technologist | Jan - Mar 2026, Renewable
Contract Duration: Nov 26 - Apr 27
Working Hours: 8:30am - 6pm, Mon-Fri
Job Description
- Set up simulation sessions with fellow Simulation Technologists, preparing equipment and consumables and ensuring rooms are ready for scheduled teaching activities
- Provide technical support at events and simulation activities, including running simulation scenarios during sessions (training provided)
- Assist with the procurement of consumables for sessions
- Undertake other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Job Requirements
- A Levels, Higher NITEC or a diploma in Nursing, Medical Healthcare or Biomedical Engineering
- Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Able to work weekends and staggered shifts when required, with schedules planned to support work-life balance
- Able to lift heavy items such as mannequins, with reasonable adjustments considered where appropriate
