Desktop Engineer | Yearly Renewable Contract
Job Responsibilities
- Performed Desktop Support services to users
- This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests and escalating incidents when necessary to maintain customer satisfaction and SLA expectations.
- Perform imaging/re-imaging
- Perform tech refresh on devices
- Perform asset inventories
- Perform technical escalation to 3rd party vendor or resolver groups (where appropriate)
- Updates Incident records
- Creates and updates work instructions (where necessary)
- Document standards and procedures (where necessary)
- Tracking and management of all hardware devices are to be maintained accurately and consistently
- Installation of licences and creation of sub-admin accounts are to be performed as required
- Customised images are to be created and pilot tested prior to being pushed down to selected devices using Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM).
- Patch updates are to be deployed and managed via Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM).
- Deployment and collection of hardware devices to and from users
- Troubleshooting of user-reported issues
- Liaison with third-party vendors for EMM-related works
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum ITE or Diploma qualification, with at least 1 year of desktop support experience.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365.
- Knowledge of workstation support, hardware components and common desktop IT issues.
