Lead a One-of-a-Kind Korean Dining Concept by Chef Corey Lee
Na Oh is a contemporary Korean restaurant by Chef Corey Lee, the chef behind the three-Michelin-starred Benu in San Francisco.
Located on Level 3 of the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) at 2 Bulim Link, Na Oh presents Korean culinary traditions in an architectural, technology-led setting. Our menu follows the seasons and includes vegetables harvested from the smart farm within the facility.
We are looking for a General Manager to lead Na Oh's day-to-day operation and team. The role works closely with Chef Corey Lee's team on culinary and service standards, and with HMGICS as our host partner.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Full-time, 5 days per week
Monthly salary from S$6,000, depending on experience
Yearly performance bonus and salary increment review
Transportation support
Medical coverage, including GP visits and hospitalisation
Visa support for suitable overseas candidates
REPORTING
Reports to the Director of Operations
Works closely with Chef Corey Lee's team and HMGICS on related parts of the role
Leads the front-of-house team and works closely with the Head Chef and kitchen leadership
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At least 5 years of management experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality, including at least 2 years as General Manager, Assistant General Manager or Restaurant Manager
Fluent Korean and English, spoken and written, at a business level
Experience preparing regular operational reports for management
Experience running front of house in a chef-led restaurant, working closely with the chef and kitchen team
Sound knowledge of Korean cuisine and beverages, including wine and traditional Korean spirits
Experience recruiting, training and developing teams
Comfortable with reservation systems (e.g. SevenRooms), POS and spreadsheets
Working knowledge of Singapore food safety and employment requirements is an ad
