This is a foundation course where you will learn the basic concept of enterprise risk management. The course is substantially activity-based. Through peer discussions and role-plays, you will apply the risk concepts in a risk planning exercise, to develop a risk management plan. This is a synchronous course conducted fully online on Zoom.
Who is this Course for?
Those with a minimum of 2 years’ working experience and who are supporting the risk management process or project management and are keen to acquire the basic enterprise risk management skills.
Course Outline
* Understand risk and the enterprise risk management concept of managing risk.
* Understand the financial services industry specific risks.
* Understand the components of the risk planning process, and to support risk planning and risk assessment.
* Understand and implement control activities.
* Understand the different risk responses and translate them into risk action plans.
* Apply change management techniques to carry out the risk action plans.
* Document, track and monitor risk management outcomes for different stakeholders.
