Summary
The Resource Optimisation Manager is responsible for maximizing the efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and facilities through strategic resource planning, rostering, and real-time operational deployment to support 24/7 operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage medium-term, short-term, and real-time resource allocation plans.
- Lead and support Resource Planners and Allocators to ensure optimal staffing and resource deployment.
- Monitor operational demand and adjust resources to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize resource management systems and data analytics to improve workforce planning and decision-making.
- Provide expert guidance on rostering, overtime planning, leave management, and workforce optimization.
- Track roster effectiveness and prepare reports on staffing coverage and resource utilization.
- Conduct scenario planning and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and health policies.
- Support manpower and equipment budgeting activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in resource planning, workforce planning, or resource management.
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in an airline, airport, MRO, or ground handling environment is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, planning, rostering, overtime management, and leave administration skills.
- Proficient in workforce planning and resource management systems.
