Job Description
- Perform daily tasks: handle kitchen operations, floor (service operations) and the cutting area (fish cutting and ingredient preparation)
- Handle daily opening and closing checklists
- Coach and train junior crew, and handle recruitment and manpower management
- Resolve customer complaints and feedback to deliver excellent service
- Manage incident reports, food cost & wastage and make sure follow-up and documentation are done promptly
- Order restaurant supplies and monitor inventory
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, hygiene and sanitation standards, and maintain personal grooming
- Prepare sales and operations reports for HQ
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the Kitchen area
- Ensure food safety and high-quality hygiene standards
- Carry out ad hoc duties assigned by management
Requirements
- Experience in a Sushi restaurant is an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to build teamwork
- Self-motivated and disciplined with good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible and positive working attitude
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Basic command of English for communication
