Key Responsibilities
• Prepare quality food under guidance and instruction of Café Manager.
• Provide the highest standard in food production and service at the contract site and be mindful of maintaining a professional conduct and image.
• Execute daily production volume and ensure compliance to weekly meal order plan as instructed by Supervisor.
• Perform counter service including but not limited to the dishwashing and serving of food.
• Perform cleaning duties including but not limited to pot-washing, dishwashing, floor washing, cleaning and wiping of all kitchen equipment (including chillers and freezers) as instructed by Café Manager.
• Practice and enforce the system of “First In First Out” (FIFO) when storing food products.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and observe all guidelines pertaining to the handling and preparation of food.
• Assist in all on-site catering activities including but not limited special social events, functions, luncheon talks and term-end dinner.
• Compliance to standardize system of operations, methods and procedures set by Management.
• Practice safety and ensure compliance to NEA regulations.
• Assist in the production of all special of festive menus based on Café Manager’s instruction as and when required.
• Ensure that all menu items are ready for service by stipulated meal times.
• Exercise care in preventing the use of spoilt or contaminated products in any phase of food preparation.
• Undertake any duties and projects as instructed by Café Manager.
Responsibilities
• With F&B experience an advantage
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
Working Hours:
* Shift 1: 7.00am – 5.00pm
* Shift 2: 3.00pm – 9.00pm
