Ah Mah Cooks is seeking a reliable and hands-on Demi Chef to support our daily kitchen and catering operations. As the role includes occasional collection and delivery duties, applicants must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, portioning and packing
- Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently and on schedule
- Support daily kitchen and catering operations
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Assist with stock receiving, storage and inventory checks
- Drive the company vehicle for collections and deliveries when required
- Load and unload food, supplies and catering equipment safely
- Perform other operational duties assigned by the management
Requirements
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence is mandatory
- Relevant kitchen or catering experience is preferred
- Food Safety Course Level 1 certification is preferred
- Familiarity with local cuisine would be an advantage
- Physically fit and comfortable handling catering supplies
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required
- Responsible, punctual and able to work well within a team
