Role Summary:
The Pastry Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the pastry station, ensuring the consistent production of high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods. This role leads and trains the pastry team, maintains food safety and hygiene standards, manages inventory, and ensures products are prepared and presented according to Marché's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily pastry production and operations.
- Ensure product quality, consistency, and attractive presentation.
- Lead, coach, and schedule pastry team members.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace cleanliness standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SFA regulations.
- Support a positive guest experience through fresh and high-quality offerings.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of pastry experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pastry and baking techniques.
- Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
