Ophthalmic Technician (Eye Care)
Job Description:
- Conduct eye tests and scans using various ophthalmic equipment to support doctors in patient assessment.
- Perform specialised eye examinations, including cornea, vision, and pre-surgery assessments.
- Ensure patients are safe and comfortable throughout their eye examinations.
- Assist with department projects, quality improvement activities, and eye screening programmes.
- Support daily clinic operations and carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum local Nitec/ Higher Nitec / Diploma qualification.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable operating clinical equipment.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
