Front of House (FOH) Supervisor / Assistant Manager
Job Summary
Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily Front of House (FOH) operations to ensure excellent customer service, smooth outlet operations, and efficient team performance. The FOH Supervisor / Assistant Manager is responsible for leading service staff, maintaining service standards, handling customer concerns, and ensuring compliance with company SOPs and Singapore regulations.
Location: Far East Square (near Telok Ayer / Chinatown MRT)
6 working days - PM shift only (1hour break)
Sunday to Friday & PH: 5pm to 3am
Saturday & Eve of PH: 6pm to 4am
AM shift = 10am to 8pm (will fixed but must accept PM shift too)
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily Front of House operations, ensuring smooth service during each shift.
- Lead, coach, and motivate service crew to deliver excellent customer service and achieve company service standards.
- Monitor manpower deployment and assist with duty rostering to ensure adequate staffing during operating hours.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, providing prompt service recovery and escalating complex issues to the Restaurant Manager where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety requirements, liquor licensing conditions, workplace safety standards, and outlet hygiene requirements.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure efficient communication and timely food and beverage service.
- Monitor daily sales performance and support upselling initiatives to achieve outlet sales targets.
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling (where applicable), outlet inspections, and shift handovers.
- Assist in inventory control, stock ordering, stock takes, and minimizing wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness, service quality, and overall guest satisfaction throughout the outlet.
Competency
- Possess a valid Food Hygiene Certificate
