Job Responsibilities
- - Assist with preparation of ingredients, including washing, cutting, portioning and proper storage.
- - Prepare and cook menu items according to the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards.
- - Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner.
- - Set up and maintain kitchen workstations before, during and after service.
- - Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
- - Follow proper food handling.
- - Clean kitchen equipment, utensils and preparation areas.
- - Work closely with chefs and service staff to ensure smooth daily restaurant operations.
Job Requirements
- - Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene is preferred.
- - Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- - Good teamwork, responsible attitude and willingness to learn.
- - Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
