Responsibilities

  • Install, service and maintain air-conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Perform general servicing, including cleaning filters, coils and drainage systems.
  • Check refrigerant levels, inspect for leaks and carry out rectification work where required.
  • Inspect electrical components, wiring and controls to ensure proper operation.
  • Respond to service requests and attend to equipment breakdowns.
  • Record work completed and report equipment faults or recommendations to the supervisor.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical training in air-conditioning, refrigeration or a related field is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in aircon installation, servicing or repair is preferred.
  • Able to troubleshoot common air-conditioning faults.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites.
